38 week update

Well, went to the doctor and decided to try to make it one more week. Next week, we will plan on inducing later in that week. I'm thinking possibly Friday. I lost one more pound, putting my overall gain at a whopping 6 lbs. I am dilated to 2 cm. and the baby is down. Other than that, nothing else to report. I'll keep you updated!!!

Photo Shoot!

I wanted to have pro shots done of my pregnancy of Nate because I figured he was going to be the last baby, but for whatever reason, it didn't happen. Well, I decided that since this baby IS the LAST, I was doing it. Don't mind the stretch marks :-) I was very pleased with all the pictures taken and thought I'd share a few (nearly all). We had 12 poses done and the kids were awesome. Every picture took one shot and was good! That is a definite first!

37 weeks; 3 or less to go!

Had a doctor's appointment today. Lost weight. Now I'm at a 7lb overall gain for this pregnancy. Doctor says that if I come next week and decide that I want to schedule the birth that he would be comfortable doing that at 39 weeks. I certainly don't want to rush things, but definitely am worried about going naturally. I am alone too much and have the other 3 kids to worry about finding arrangements for. So, for now I am just cruising along. He did check me today, but showed little progress. Baby isn't even down very much. Doctor says that he wouldn't expect me to do anything before Labor Day, but we will find out if there are any changes at my next appointment next week, Wednesday. I'll keep you updated!

36 weeks and counting

Only 4 weeks or less to go! Feeling ok, a bit uncomfortable though. This baby is a mover and he just doesn't have the space to do so! Doctor says all looks good. Weight gain so far = 10lbs. not too shabby. I did test postive for Group Beta Strep, so I will receive antibotics during labor and delivery. I guess it is nothing major and doesn't affect me, but can cause pneumonia in the baby (great after all the lung issues Nate had!). Anyway, it is the only real "complication" I've had other than getting pregnant to begin with! I'll keep you all posted on this one!

Another one bites the dust

Jillian lost another tooth; one of those big, front ones. It was loose, but she was messing around with the new baby's car seat and it hit her in the mouth and sent the tooth flying.

MY ROOM!!!!!

One condition of strapping myself for cash for the next 30 years was that I get my own scrap space. Well here it is! Thanks to Sandy and her friend for getting it painted before we moved the furniture in! I was being daring by going red, but am thrilled with the way the room looks! The window treatments were sparked from similar ones done at Ikea. The panels are on sliding tracks, so I can close off the window or expose it. The best thing is that the doors lock, so I can keep little ones away, but the windows allow me to see what kind of trouble they are getting into!

Kid's Room

My kids aren't spoiled are they? They finally have a space to go and play. Too bad, it is supposed to be my dining room! That's ok...at least there's no more toys scattered about my living room!

All Moved In!

Though we are still digging out of boxes, the house is definitely coming together. I cannot thank those of you who helped us move in (Greg, Chad, Bryan, Dad) and those who helped us unpack and begin to organize and put stuff together (Sandy, Chris, Nancy, Jerry, Debbie, John, Heidi, Ken, Shelly) and a big thanks to my mom who went back to the Woodhaven house and cleaned it up so that we could turn in the keys! (sorry if I forgot to thank someone out there!) It hasn't been easy considering I am now 36 weeks pg and quite big! Just thought I'd share some pics of what we've managed to get done so far! Clearly, we won't be using the garage any time soon!
