Recently some seniors from the high school (and former Yake students) held a poster contest in honor of Earth Day. They asked all the kids in the school to create a poster that somehow focused on preservation of Earth....Well, Jillian won 3rd place for the entire school. There were more than 70 kids who entered....Yes, her mom helped a bit, but she found the idea on a on-line t-shirt site. I used my scrapbooking tools to make her a large circle and drew the continents. She painted it, glued tissue paper triangles on the back and we used my die cutting machine for the words....she was soo proud!

Hop, hop, hop, SWING

A few weeks ago, Nolan began to really get into his jump up that is hanging in my scrapbook room. He was getting a bit wild and so I had to raise it a bit. This week he actually wore a hole in the toe of one of his sleepers, jumping so much! It took me a while get this posted, he is actually even more jumpy, but what can I say? I've been busy!
