More changes for Jen

Yep...Jenna is "officially" a pre-schooler. While she could have been a kindergartener, I felt that there was NO WAY she would survive (her teacher wouldn't likely either). She started today and will go 2 full days each week. Hopefully that will help prepare her for full day kindergarten NEXT year. She was anxious and had a great first day....Now I need to get Nate potty trained!

Future Victoria Beckham??? UH...UM...NO WAY!

Check out Jenna's new look....I was hoping it would look a bit fuller, but started thinking that Victoria Beckham's hairdo is similar....could Jenna have singing and modeling in her future....She could be "Sybil Spice"....(for those who don't know, Victoria Beckham was/is a Spice Girl...Posh Spice....Since I always refer to Jenna as Sybil because of her ever-changing moods........nevermind.

Turtle Cove

Shelly and I took the girls to Turtle Cove, the latest attraction at the Lower Huron Metropark. They had a blast (so did I!). There are water slides (which the girls were too chicken to try), a lazy river, a pool with little fountains and then a waterscape that has a bucket that drops 300 gallons of water when full. It is very neat! A bit costly to get in, but something to do for a few hours. Unfortunately, at some point my camera lense got a water spot, so many of my pictures have a blur in them.....GRRR....the sun was too bright, I didn't notice it right away...o-well!

Teething BITES!

Unlike my other 3 children, Nolan has been cutting teeth rather slowly. He got his first at 5 months and second at 8 months, but now at 10 months, he's working on 3-4 all at once. If you look really closely (click on the picture to enlarge it) you can see them coming in on the top...he's been a bit cranky, keeping his fingers in his mouth, but oddly enough with a dose of Tylenol, he's been sleeping a bit better. He sleeps 4-6 hours, wakes to nurse for 15 minutes and goes back to sleep for another 2-4 hours and then naps 3 hours in the early afternoon...Since I've been off work, I've really tried to get him on a schedule. Hopefully Bud keeps it going once I'm back to work...

Bowl Cut

I know, I know, he looks a bit geeky...I couldn't handle how long the back and sides of his hair was and I didn't want to shave it completely. Yes, I created this hairdo...no I didn't use a bowl. It was less than easy to get him to sit still so I did the best that I could...a bit crooked, but hey what do you want for free???? I just took him 3-4 weeks ago for a cut and it grew back!
