NEVER "GONNA" HAPPEN!!

The title of this post basically sums up the likeliness of getting all of the Snyder grandkids to sit pretty and smile nice for the camera....at least I tried, right?

Not for the faint of heart....

I will assume that you are sitting since you are in front of the computer, but if not, please do...or at least brace yourself....You are looking at pictures of our family having Thanksgiving dinner, in which I ---yes--ME--Katie---prepared. Granted, I didn't make a "real" turkey, just a turkey breast (because none of us are all that thrilled with turkey), and yes, my stuffing was Stove Top (not because I can't make real stuffing--we just like Stove Top better)....but I actually made dinner for the first time for Thanksgiving. It was nice, but definitely weird since we usually spend the day with Bud's family. Jenna was a bit disappointed too because she assumed someone was coming over to have dinner with us. She kept saying, "who is sharing Thanksgiving with us?" and wasn't satisfied that it was just us. Still, everyone ate and enjoyed it!! Even Nolan sat with us --of course, his meal came later to him from me :-)

Smiley Baby---

I finally got a few pictures of Nolan smiling his "big ass, gummy smile"....His gums are just all I notice when he smiles...I am a terrible mom and have started calling him Mr. Ed...ya know that talking horse??? Anyway--enjoy!

Happy Birthday Jenna & Nathan!

Since Nate's birthday is only 2 days after Halloween and Jenna's four days, I thought that it would be great to have a Halloween themed birthday. It gave the kids (and a few "big" kids) the opportunity to get one more use of their costumes. It was fun. As Stretchy the Clown, I also learned to make balloon animals for the kids (sorry no pics---I can't twist balloons and take pics at the same time!)

Trick or Treat!

Halloween was weird this year with the first hour still having daylight, but it did allow for some pictures of the actually trick or treating, something I couldn't quite catch before. The kids didnt want to pose for pictures (big surprise), but Nolan did! Cousins Ethan and Megan joined us this year.

I tried to set up my own little photo studio to get some Halloween pictures of Nolan. Of course my favorite shot of Nolan was taken without my flash on...I am bummed, but still they turned out pretty good. I took a few of the other kids while I had it all set up.

Pumpkin Carving

Of course we did our pumpkins, though I wasn't as into it as I usually am. It was late, I was tired and Nathan kept putting the stupid seeds and pulp BACK into the pumpkins! I was also disappointed because they were already starting to rot, though we had only bought them two weeks before Halloween. We carved them the Saturday before the holiday and they barely made it to Halloween night.

Pumpkin Patch

Just a few pictures we took at the Erie Apple Orchard. The kids weren't terribly cooperative, but they had fun jumping in the hay and petting some of the animals. We also stopped at Nature's Creek Zoo while out that way....Nate was a bit spooked by some of the animals-especially of the geese that were running loose, chasing him!
