Plasma Car

It dawned on me that I never did post those pictures of Jill's Christmas present. It really is cool. You just move the steering wheel back and forth and it moves! No batteries--whoo, hoo! The kids all love it. I can already see we will have to buy a few more. For now, Nate is small enough to hitch a ride though!

Haircut???

Took Nate for a trim and ended up with a hack job. The girl didn't even try to even it up. The thing that kills me is that he sat so still for her. There really was no reason for her not to have done a better job! GRRRR!

Gerber Baby

I forgot to post the pictures I took of Nolan eating rice cereal because I was so anxious to show the video! He kinda looks like the Gerber Baby doesn't he?

First food!

I introduced Nolan to rice cereal this week and it was definitely a hit. I did make the mistake of waiting until he was hungry to give it and man, I couldn't get it in fast enough for him! Now I make sure he is only slightly hungry and it is much more pleasant!

Amazing

It never ceases to amaze me how much a child changes each month their first year of life. I really like the one I took this month. I think he really looks alot like me and of course he is showing off his sweet smile. For those who don't know, I take my kids' pictures in the exact same spot each month for the first 12 months to show their growth over a year. I just love looking at their changes. Anyway, here are Nolan's first through fourth months.

4 Months Old!

I am a picture-a-holic...I drop at least hundred bucks (maybe two) every few months on pictures for my kids..Here are a few of Nolan's 4 month pictures we had done at Sears. I will be taking him back at 6 months, 9 months and then 1 year. He is growing soooo fast! He is a pleasant little guy too, though lately he has decided that he likes being entertained. He still sleeps like a loser, rarely giving me more than 2-3 hours straight. His doctor thinks he may have some reflux issues. Hopefully, he'll start sleeping better soon!!!

Miss Sybil Mae

Poor middle child Jenna.... her frequent tantrums and sudden sweetness has earned her the terrible nickname Sybil....just wanted to share a pic of her in one of her "personalities"...I know I'm a mean mom.

Christmas Day with the Snyders

We hosted Christmas with Bud's family this year. Our family has grown so much that it was much easier here. The amount of gifts under our tree was overwhelming. Opening them was chaos---but fun!

Christmas Day

We definitely went overboard with the gifts this year (what else is new?) The kids were so excited, so it was definitely worth it. The gift of the year ended up being Jillian's Plasma Car (I'll post pictures of it later). Nolan enjoyed the paper!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents' as we traditionally do. The kids enjoyed playing with their third cousins Zachary and Julianna as the adults sat and chatted.

Christmas with the Gearharts

We hosted this year's Christmas with the Gearhart family. It was really perfect. There was plenty of space and there was somewhere for all the kids to play and stay out of the adults' hair! I took lots of pictures of silly things like the food (did not post those) because Bud had to work which sucks for him--good for the bank account though :-) So here are a few pictures of my cousins' kids doing the Christmas thing. Unfortunately cousin Riley was too involved with my kids' toys to be willing to join us for a group picture, but I think I caught her in there somewhere...
