OK, as most of you know pregnancy has never been my friend and for this one to be any different would probably bring anxiety and concern rather than relief. Anyway, I've been slacking on the blog, due to the fact that I feel like shit 90% of the time. I will try to post at least once a month from now on. I know some of you are wondering about our house situation...well, here is the short version.
We lost the house we were originally building because the same day we put in an offical offer, so did someone else, who of course, outbid us....no biggie since we still haven't sold the house we are in. We then, were notified by the builder that they did have another one with a poured basement and we could build it to our liking, down to brick and the whole bit....we decided to go for it and so we are building another and have no chance that someone can swipe it. We've lowered the price again on the house we're in and are hoping to sell by July when our new one should be done. We have had some great response to this and have had 5 showings THIS WEEK. The second couple came through twice and ended up deciding between ours and another in the neighborhood. They were looking at homes priced higher than ours originally and so bid on the new construction around the block from us which was $30,000 more (I would have done the same)...but that was definitely reassuring. Then today we had another interested couple, but they decided to bid on a house $20,000 less than ours...a bungalo in Riverview on a slab...I was a bit surprised, but figure ours must have been at the top of their price comfort level. So we wait. I really don't want to sell before the end of April or early May. I really don't want to move into an apartment for a month and turn around and move again. (not to mention, I can't help much and so I'll be begging friends and family to help and don't want to bug them twice). Anyway, here are a few pictures of the house we are building. They started it 3 weeks ago... The roof was going on this week....not sure what else. They are saying it may be done before July! OK>>>so much for the "short" story huh?

Here I am sitting on my seat in what will be my big ole' shower in the master bath...I can't wait to be able to sit and shave my legs! I might actually shave more than once a month!
I am standing in one of the two walk in closets in the master bedroom. We were trying to get a concept of its size--that's why my arms are outstretched...Bud is just happy that he is going so get some room in a closet! He doesn't have much now!
Here is the Great room wall with the fireplace and windows....I love all that natural light!
This is the foyer window....I wanted that fancy arch window and it is sure it "perty" NOw I have to spend big bucks to find a fancy chandelier to show off!
I'll post more pics next week while I'm on vacation.
