NO---I didn't go take a picture of someone else's Help U Sell sign. This is the one in our front yard!!! We had an open house on Sunday and had an offer within an hour of it's ending. Contracts are signed and we are just waiting on their home inspection and them securing a mortgage. Best yet is that we found them so we get a huge break on real estate commission! They are not in a big hurry to get in either, so we can stay here until our other place is done. We are soooo relieved!
HEY BRIDGETTE-----I had to share this with you. The SECOND THING (schools were the first) the buyer commented about was how nice it was that the house was painted a "nice, neutral color". I had to laugh considering the conversation we had at your house on Saturday!
Anyway, keep your fingers crossed that we don't run into any snags from here!

Congratulations! I am glad everything is coming together and hope that everything goes through without a hitch!
Also I never said that it wouldn't sell, just it would take longer. People feel white/cream is a sterile color. Besides my point was it would sell faster if it was a nice neutral, warmer color. Anyhow hope all is working out in the long run.
I know that you didn't say it wouldn't sell, but I went home that night and discussed with Bud and my in-laws which rooms to paint and what color, etc. and was considering doing it the next weekend. Then we had the open house the next day and this all went down. Just thought it was weird that we had just discussed it!
See Bud is happy he does not have to paint now!!
