First Grade--HERE I COME!

FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

THIS IS THE BOY JILLIAN "SECRETLY" TOLD JENNA WAS HER BOYFRIEND. NEEDLESS TO SAY, JENNA SPILLED THE BEANS. WHEN ASKED WHY HE WAS HER BOYFRIEND, SHE SAID "WELL, I WANT TO MARRY SOMEONE WHO IS CUTE AND FUNNY AND TREVOR IS CUTE AND FUNNY". SHE ALSO REMARKED THAT HE HAS PRETTY EYES LIKE NATHAN (BIG AND BLUE)!!

This little girl was one of Jillian's bestest buddies. Her other one moved away during the school year.

Jillian is officially a first grader. She made major progress this year with her social skills. Many have commented on how much more talkative she has become. Her teacher said only positive things. She is especially strong in reading, but needs to work a bit on math skills (She was one of the last in her class to count to 100 and is still struggling with writing her numbers to 30-- (basically just the numbers between 12 and 20). Anyway, I was thrilled that her teacher gave her a CD with pictures that she had taken throughout the year. There was about 50 pictures! Did I mention that her teacher scrapbooks? I'm sure that had nothing to do with it! HEre are a few from that disc and some that I took on the last day. We had an assembly out in the school yard and the kids really enjoyed it!
