We found out that the couple MAY actually buy our house after all. They are more than 90% sure that it will work out and all they need to do is change the wording on our contracts a bit. They went ahead and had the inspection done today and that came back good! Things are looking up!!!

Inspection cleared and then they wanted some other type of furnace test. My realtor said it was a complete waste of money, but if it helped them to sleep at night, let them do it. Their $50 and ten minutes of the inspector's time to do the second test and they were convinced all is well. All their paperwork is in to the mortgage company, now it is just a matter of waiting on underwriting, appraisals and CLOSING! Hoping it will all be done by the 1st!
