It's hard to believe, but not to remember, that it has been 2 years since little Nate came so dangerously close to leaving us. He is the highlight of my day and couldn't be more perfect (except for the occasional melt downs, of course). We attended the Henry Ford NICU reunion with his fellow NICU buddy, Joel. His nurse and doctors were so thrilled to see him. Since his stay at Henry Ford, they have had a number of other Nitric babies. They started a Nitric wall with pictures of their Nitric babies. They made sure to take a picture of Nate with Dr. "EZ" , the chief neonatalogist to add to their wall.

In that first pic, Nate looks like the cool little dude. He just needs a pack of smokes rolled into his sleeve to make the rebel attitude complete :-)
Not that I want him to smoke, but he reminds me at the Fonz!
